Health and Hygiene

DPVN School, promotes the doctrine that education and health for children are inextricably entwined. A comprehensive school health approach includes a broad spectrum of activities which take place in the school and their surrounding communities that enable children and youth to enhance their health, develop to their fullest potential and establish productive and satisfying relationships in their present and future lives.

The facilities include:

Service of a visiting doctor

Maintaining HPE records as per CBSE guidelines.

Maintaining basic standard of cleanliness in school.

A well equipped Medical room to attend to specific diseases, disorders and injury.

Our school trains and encourages students to participate in inter school championships

Encouraging students to take part in Scouts and Guides and RSP, the two programmes successfully implemented in our school.

Health Forms- A uniform process for reporting health problems to the school for the purpose of monitoring risk factors and administering possible preventive measures.

Promoting health and wellness.

Promote positive health and safety behaviours.

A tie up with the nearby hospitals

Promoting physical fitness in school through yoga,games and mass drills.

Students under the category of “Unaddressed Mental Health” are attended on a priority basis by the Counsellors.

A team of Counsellors assist students who are in need or at risk and help support those who are already exhibiting special needs.

Successfully completed MR Vaccine camp for the entire school and received a certificate as well.
